Kentucky sees best scratch off sales in nearly 30 year history

“This is a great way to kick off our 30th anniversary we’ll be officially celebrating in April,” said Tom Delacenserie, president and CEO of the Kentucky Lottery. “To not only break but shatter our one-day Scratch-off sales record is a huge achievement, and a testament to the hard work of our retailers and staff. The more tickets we sell, the more kids we send to college. That’s a great net result of this momentous occasion.”

Florida Proposes a Full Online Lottery Ban

According to Robinson, leaving any legal gray areas in which these websites can operate can pose serious risks to Florida’s residents. The local lottery is carefully regulated by the state, and the sale of online tickets circumvents many of its strict regulations – while also charging excessively high prices to boot. The senator says that these games of chance are carefully regulated, and that this is done for a very good reason.
