“The Texas Lottery continues to set sales records and generate record revenue for Texas education and veterans,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. “This fiscal year, we experienced an increase in sales of $549 million or more than 10 percent over the previous year. “One of our key priorities has been to make National Lottery games available in discount supermarkets whose market share has grown considerably in recent years,” said a Camelot spokesman. “We’ve started this process via a trial with Aldi, which has been going very well. Depending on the outcome of this trial, a decision will be made on whether to roll out more widely.”
